Position Overview
As a Digital Service Technician, you’ll travel across the U.S. to install, maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot, and repair Komori digital and inkjet printing presses. You’ll be the technical expert our customers rely on to keep their operations running smoothly.Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure hardware and software at customer sites
- Perform equipment and workflow analysis, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance training
- Diagnose mechanical and system failures using established procedures
- Provide technical feedback and maintain communication with the Technical Service Manager
- Serve as a liaison for unresolved technical issues
- Attend training classes as needed
- Travel extensively as required
Qualifications
Education & Experience- Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training/experience OR completion of electronics school or equivalent electronics training
- 3–5 years of direct experience as a digital press field technician
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP software
- CAD experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working near mechanical parts, electrical components, and in noisy environments
- Willingness to travel extensively
