Integrated with specialized business units, the Human Resource Business Partner II will provide Human Resource (HR) support to leadership and employees across operations within the United States and Canada. Implementing best practices and continuous improvement, the Human Resource Business Partner will be involved with employee relations, talent acquisition, and benefits administration.Roles and ResponsibilitiesAddress Human Resource related inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and general policy to support employees and maintain a positive workplace cultureAssist in developing, updating, and implementing Human Resource policies that ensure legal compliance and best practicesActively promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment, fostering a culture aligned with company valuesHelp ensure Human Resource activities are compliant with state, federal labor, and national laws and regulationsEnsuring accuracy in records for benefits, attendance, and employee data, while maintaining digital and physical files for employeesProcess enrollments, changes, and payments for health insurance and other benefits; address employee questions related to benefits programsEnsure accurate entry of labor hours for weekly payroll processing and assist in payroll data reportingSupport recruitment efforts by participating in the hiring process, coordination of interviews, and assist with onboarding new employeesProvide general administrative support to the Human Resource team and assist in various Human Resource projects and initiativesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, or related field.Five years or more of progressive Human Resources experienceWorking knowledge of California employment law and familiarity with Canadian labor laws, particularly in British ColumbiaAbility to build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organizationAbility to provide written and verbal communication with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindsetOrganized with strong attention to detail to manage multiple prioritiesTravel to multiple business units up to 25% domestically and internationallyEither maintain or have the ability to obtain a valid PassportPreferred QualificationsIndustrial manufacturing experienceProfessional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Strategic Human Resources Management (SHRM) certificationEqual Opportunity Statement: Komline is an EEO Employer- M/F/Vets/Disabled
