This Opportunity
The team supporting our Komline-Harn brand of products has been delivering the highest quality membrane treatment system for our clients over the past 50 years. Whether it’s a full design build, membrane plant retrofit, or uniquely required service, through our dedication we consistently deliver on expectations.
The Customer Support Specialist I will provide administrative, sales, and operational support across the Komline-Harn business unit. The Customer Support Specialist I will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, including managing aftermarket sales orders, coordinating travel and conferences, maintaining data accuracy in D365 and NetSuite, assisting with financial and operational reporting, and supporting both office and field teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls and provide professional customer assistance
- Manage aftermarket sales and purchase orders (filters, cleaners, anti-scalants) from order entry through fulfillment, including freight coordination and quotes
- Coordinate travel logistics for field technicians, including last-minute changes and extensions
- Plan and execute conference participation for the sales team, including registrations, hotel accommodations, and shipment of materials
- Prepare weekly WIP/Job Cost reports and monthly inventory reports
- Apply customer payments to open invoices and assist with accounts receivable tracking
- Create and maintain job records in NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) systems
- Maintain organized filing systems, including scanning and document control
- Serve as Office Safety Coordinator, ensuring compliance with company safety protocols
- Reconcile end-of-month petty cash balances and assist with DHP setup as needed
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including birthday and work anniversary recognitions
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from an accredited College or University
- Strong organizational and multitasking with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and NetSuite
