Position Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials to support customer and operational requirements. This role maintains inventory accuracy through timely system transactions, cycle counts, and adherence to established warehouse processes. The position works closely with Customer Service, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment and inventory availability. The Material Handler is expected to maintain a safe, organized work environment while consistently meeting quality, productivity, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, parts, and shipments.
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
- Perform inventory transactions in ERP/WMS systems and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Organize and maintain warehouse locations using 5S and safety standards.
- Support inventory replenishment, stocking, and kitting activities.
- Verify shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Procurement, and Operations teams to meet customer requirements.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of material handling or logistics experience in a manufacturing or a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Experience using ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management systems preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse activities.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

- Salary Range: $37,400 - $57,300 annually
