Kodiak Labor Solutions is hiring Sheet Metal Mechanics for a growing Special Projects team in Richmond, VA. If you enjoy retrofit work, solving field challenges, and working on commercial HVAC systems in hospitals, universities, government buildings, manufacturing facilities, and other complex commercial environments, we'd like to speak with you.

What You'll Do

• Layout, fabricate, assemble, and install commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems
• Work on retrofit, renovation, and tenant improvement projects
• Read drawings and perform field layout independently
• Install ductwork, plenums, fire dampers, diffusers, VAV boxes, air handling units, fan-powered boxes, and related mechanical equipment
• Work safely while delivering quality craftsmanship on every project

What We're Looking For

• Commercial sheet metal mechanic experience
• Experience laying out, fabricating, assembling, and installing ductwork
• Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings
• Experience on commercial construction projects (retrofit experience is highly preferred)
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices
