Commissioning Technician
Pay: $30-$39/hr overtime
Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking experienced Commissioning Technicians to perform installation, startup, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems and associated controls. This direct-hire role requires strong technical skills, independent work ethic, and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Startup, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment and controls
- Interpret work orders and complete assigned service tasks
- Train building owners and apprentices on system operation
- Maintain truck inventory and procure necessary materials
- Oversee apprentices and helpers as needed
- Communicate project status and service updates with supervisors
Requirements:
- HVAC Journeyman or Master License
- EPA Certification
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, BOCA codes, and OSHA regulations
- Ability to read technical information and troubleshoot complex systems
- Candidate needs a strong mixture of installation, startup, and some service for commissioning of newly installed equipment
