Role Overview
We’re seeking a highly experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to handle advanced service, maintenance, and troubleshooting across complex systems including RTUs, chillers, and boilers. This is a senior-level, field-based role for someone who can work independently and serve as a technical expert on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on RTUs, chillers, boilers, and related equipment
- Conduct preventative maintenance and system performance checks
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and control sequences
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and industry regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing technical insight and solutions
- Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
- Serve as a mentor or technical resource for junior technicians when needed
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of commercial/industrial HVAC service experience
- Strong hands-on experience with RTUs, chillers, and boilers
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and HVAC controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
- EPA Universal Certification (preferred/expected)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
