What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain small to large commercial refrigeration systems and their control systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and component failures using specialized testing instruments
- Perform repairs on:
- Walk-in and reach-in coolers
- Ice machines
- Display cases
- Rack systems (preferred, not required)
- Perform preventative maintenance and ensure operational efficiency
- Document work and communicate findings to team leads and customers
- Participate in rotating schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed
- Experience servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration systems
- Familiarity with rack refrigeration systems (preferred)
- Universal EPA Certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude, reliability, and professionalism
- Flexibility for unplanned overtime and shift variations
- Top-market hourly pay ($40–$50/hr), based on experience
