Koch Fertilizer Wever, LLC is looking for a 2026 Summer Plant Operator Intern to join our Storage & Loading team in Wever, Iowa. The internship opportunity will be a 12-week program running from late May to mid-August 2026.

What You Will Do
* Loading: Operate loading equipment to safely and efficiently load trucks and rail cars with fertilizer products.
* Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations.
* Learn & Grow Through Training: Participate in comprehensive safety and training programs designed to help you develop new skills, stay informed on industry best practices, and understand regulatory requirements.
* Troubleshooting: Dive into challenges by assisting with troubleshooting and resolving any loading issues. Your input will help us maintain efficiency and safety.
* Safety: Gain a deep understanding of workplace safety by ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and protocols. You'll leave with safety habits that will serve you for a lifetime.
* Project Support: Contribute to logistics projects that directly support the Shipping team, gaining hands-on experience in supply chain operations.
* Collaboration: Work closely with a supportive team of professionals who are invested in helping you succeed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Currently enrolled in a technical or vocational program related to manufacturing, industrial operations, maintenance, or a similar field.
- Eligible for full-time employment by graduation date
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
* Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and weekends, as you're available outside of academic commitments.
- Willing and able to meet all physical requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb straight ladders. Some work may require heights in excess of 100 feet.
- Wearing industrial chemical plant uniforms and PPE as required.
- Confined space entry may be required.
