Job Description Cook Chill Production Center (CCPC serves Office of Mental Health facilities and other NYS facilities, government facilities and not-for-profit agencies by making/delivering 150 different food products (25,000 lbs. produced daily) . Cook Chill is a system of preparing large quantities of food using a time/temperature process that provides an extended shelf life. CCPC is operated by the NYS Office of Mental Health, Bureau of Nutrition Services.
Job Duties: The persons selected for this position will perform a variety of food preparation tasks other than cooking, to include preparing cold foods/shellfish and slicing meat; storing and stocking of food; and sanitation tasks.
This RFQ is for 1 Full-Time and 2 Part-Time temporary positions. Anticipated Work Schedules* are as follows:
Full-Time Position: 7:00am-3:30pm, M-F
Part-Time Positions: Approximately 27 Hours Weekly between the hours of 7:00am-4:30pm, M-F
Food Safety and Facility specific training will be provided by CCPC.
