What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Fund Accountant, Hedge Funds and Private Equity position at KNM Resources?
• Supervise the day to day portfolio and fund level accounting for several funds
• Preparation of daily cash and position reconciliations through break resolution and reporting
• Review of daily and period end portfolio valuation
• Ensure all corporate actions and interest accruals are complete and accurate
• Analyze and record fund level expenses and accruals
• Determine management fees, performance fees, and allocation of income to investors
• Analyze non routine transactions and events
• Compilation of period end Net Asset Value reporting file
• Portfolio asset classes can include: equities, fixed income, derivatives, and private investments
• Attend to all client and third party requests in a timely manner with crisp professional communication
• Approach all aspects of operations with an alertness for potential risks and ensure timely escalation
• Demonstrate an unrelenting commitment to client satisfaction
• Ensure adherence with all internal policies and procedures
• Supervise and train associate staff
