Controller

The Controller for Global Manufacturing will provide accounting support and guidance to the Finance team, and assist them with maintaining appropriate internal controls and mitigating risks. The candidate will be responsible for providing risk, compliance and control guidance around SOX and Compliance activities, remediation plan and reporting. This position coordinates audit activities across the Region, and helps prioritize and monitor action plans to address control deficiencies and audit findings. The position also supports implementation of global accounting policies and procedures. Responsibilities: • Provide accounting guidance and support, including accounting policies and procedures • Provide input on design and implementation of ongoing risk-based monitoring approaches and infrastructure in coordination with the Finance team. Collaborate on the development of testing of enhancements to financial systems and processes, including supporting the implementation of a global ERP system • Provide guidance on operational, financial and compliance controls to ensure readiness for each audit • Provide guidance on US GAAP accounting standards and requirements • Assist in documentation of Business Processes for Sarbanes Oxley • Ensure that the internal controls of the organization are being regularly reviewed by the responsible line management • Identify business risks within the operations and work with Senior Management to develop remedial actions • Develop effective responses to management on audit findings, including monitoring of results of remediation • Execute Compliance Quality monitoring activities o Reviewing market internal control self assessment and certifications o Coordinating and executing quarterly SOX and Balance Sheet certifications
