Experience Needed
- Minimum of one to three years’ previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Purpose of Position
This position is responsible for supporting KAC departments by cleaning and preparing parts for sequential processing.
Description of Job Duties
- Clean & prep parts and weapons for KAC department needs; before and after test including disassembly and reassembly.
- Must be proficient with hand tools.
- Mechanical/assembly experience preferred.
- Must have thorough knowledge of safety and correct procedures for performing tasks to prevent personal injury or damage to product and/or equipment.
- Has a strong personal standard when it comes to safety, quality, and productivity.
- Self-motivated.
- Adhere to all departmental ISO procedures and policies.
- Follow firearm safety procedures and maintain security of weapons.
- Monitor min./max. levels for all consumable/cleaning items and report needs to supervisor.
- Cleans work areas and cleaning equipment at end of shift daily.
- Ensures product quality using visual inspection techniques during cleaning process.
- Moves product to and from designated areas as required.
- Follow Safety and Haz Mat procedures and report all injuries to supervisor.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain the confidentiality of Knight Enterprises Management, LLC designs, data procedures and processes.
