What are the responsibilities and job description for the Airbnb Cleaner position at Kleros Hospitality?
Job Summary
Kleros is seeking a high-performance Airbnb Cleaner to join our growing short-term rental portfolio. This is not a basic cleaning position. We operate boutique, experience-driven properties and hold ourselves to five-star hospitality standards every turnover.
We are looking for someone who is obsessed with details, follows process precisely, and embraces guest readiness as if they were the one staying in the home.
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role working directly with Kleros — not a third-party cleaning company relationship. We provide all cleaning supplies, systems, and scheduling coordination so you can focus on execution and excellence.
We pay top-of-market rates because we believe in our product and take care of our team. Saturdays and all major holidays are off.
As we scale, this role offers clear pathways into expanded responsibility, additional income opportunities, and long-term leadership potential within the company. We are growing fast — and we promote from within.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed Airbnb turnover cleanings to five-star hospitality standards
- Follow established cleaning systems, checklists, and staging procedures precisely
- Prepare properties for guest arrival with full “guest-ready” presentation
- Restock consumables and report inventory needs
- Conduct self-quality checks before leaving each property
- Report maintenance concerns, damages, or irregularities immediately
- Assist with occasional deep cleans and property launch setups
- Support team needs when necessary to protect the guest experience
- Continuously improve efficiency while maintaining meticulous standards
Additional Income Opportunities
For team members who demonstrate reliability and attention to detail, additional paid opportunities may include:
- Property errand runs and supply pickups
- Assisting with property staging and setup during new launches
- Decorating, styling, and light furnishing installs
- Shopping for décor and curated items for new properties
- Helping execute aesthetic upgrades and seasonal refreshes
If you have an eye for design or enjoy curating spaces, this is a strong growth avenue. We train team members on Airbnb-specific aesthetics, guest psychology, and presentation standards that help properties stand out in a competitive market.
High performers can expand beyond cleaning into operational and creative roles.

- Team-first mindset with strong communication skills
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
- Interest in hospitality, operations, or design is a plus

- Top-of-market pay (above local industry standards)
- Bi-Weekly Direct Deposit
