Title Clerk

Klein Honda is hiring a Title Clerk to keep every deal's paperwork clean, filed and registered on time. If you like details, deadlines and checking things off, this is your seat. You will be the person who makes sure our customers' titles and registrations get done right, in Washington and in other states.

Klein Honda is the longest family owned and operated Honda dealership in the Northwest, and we have served Everett and Snohomish County since 1976. We are a family-friendly team, and some of our people started out as customers. No corporate dealership vibe here. We value teamwork, growth and taking care of our customers.

• Prepare and submit title and registration paperwork for vehicle sales, trade-ins and purchases, in Washington and other states

• Work directly with the Washington Department of Licensing (DOL) and with DMVs and other agencies in other states to get titles processed, corrected and released

• Call customers to collect missing documents, signatures and information, and to update them on the status of their title or registration

• Track every open title, follow up on anything outstanding, and make sure nothing sits past its deadline

• Keep deal files, titles and records organized, filed and easy to find

• Work with our sales, finance and accounting teams to resolve title issues, lien payoffs and paperwork errors

• Stay current on title and registration rules as they change

• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and a habit of following through

• Self-motivated. You can manage your own workload and chase down open items without being reminded

• Working knowledge of Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas and tracking spreadsheets)

• Comfortable making phone calls to customers and government offices, with clear and professional communication

• High school diploma or GED

• Dealership title or DMV experience is a plus, but not required. We will train the right person

• Experience with a dealer management system (DealerTrack or similar) is a plus

• Must be 18 or older, able to pass a background check, and able to work in person at our Everett dealership
