THE ROLE

We're seeking a motivated, customer-focused Counter Person to join our Parts Department. You'll help retail customers, wholesale accounts, and our own service technicians find the right parts and accessories quickly and accurately. If you enjoy helping people, have a knack for sales, and thrive in a fast-paced shop, you'll fit right in.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Greet every customer and provide prompt, courteous service at the counter and on the phone

- Help customers choose the right Honda parts and accessories for their vehicle

- Process orders accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system

- Provide product information and recommendations

- Answer questions and resolve customer issues or complaints

- Work with the sales and service teams to hit department goals

- Keep the counter area clean and organized

- Stay current on Honda product knowledge and industry updates

WHAT YOU BRING

- 1 year of automotive experience (required)

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Accuracy and follow-through on order fulfillment

- Comfort with POS systems and basic retail math (pricing and discounts)

- Sales ability and the confidence to find solutions that work for the customer and the dealership

- Multilingual skills are a plus

SCHEDULE

- Full-time, Monday – Friday

- 8- or 10-hour shifts

- Weekends as needed

• Provide excellent customer service to parts customers in person, over the phone, and via email
• Identify parts accurately using parts catalogs, computer systems, and manufacturer resources
• Process parts orders, returns, and exchanges in accordance with dealership policies
• Maintain strong product knowledge for OEM parts and common accessories
• Verify part numbers, pricing, availability, and warranties before confirming orders
• Coordinate with technicians and service advisors to ensure correct parts for repair orders
• Package orders carefully and ensure timely pickup and delivery coordination
• Handle payments and process invoices using dealership systems
• Keep the parts counter organized and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Assist with inventory control by tracking stock levels and reporting low or missing items
• Follow dealership procedures for documentation, shipping paperwork, and recordkeeping
• Collaborate with the service and inventory teams to support efficient workflow
