What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Watch Attendant position at Klamath County Family YMCA?
The YMCA of Klamath Falls seeks a Part-Time Child Watch Attendant for The YMCA of Klamath Falls Aquatic and Fitness Center location. Child Watch is a program in our YMCA that provides members with childcare while they work out, take classes, or swim. Child Watch is available to children ages six weeks to 10 yrs of age. The position will be responsible for the children's safety, care, and well-being in the YMCA Child Watch Area. Attendants will follow the policies and procedures of the center regarding personal conduct and security, as well as demonstrate a genuine desire to work and play with children. Shifts include Monday through Thursdays 4:00 pm- 8:00 pm
Applicants will also need to exhibit dependability, be self-motivated, and be committed to being positive role models for youth. Experience working with children and an understanding of childhood development is preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age. Current ARC/YMCA First Aid, CPR, and Blood Borne Pathogens within 30 days of being hired.
