Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Foreman (Night Shift)
Kitchen Guard – Lincoln/Omaha, NE
Pay: $20–$25/hour (DOE)
Job type: Full-time
Schedule: Primarily overnight, Sunday–Thursday. Occasional daytime work required.
About the Role
Kitchen Guard keeps commercial kitchens fire‑safe and code‑compliant by cleaning exhaust hoods, ducts, and fans. We’re looking for a Foreman who can lead a crew, uphold high performance standards, and take ownership of job quality from start to finish. This is a senior role for someone who knows the trade, works with urgency, and sets the tone for the entire team.
What You’ll Lead
- Run nightly cleaning operations and direct a small crew on-site
- Ensure full-system cleaning: hoods, ducts, filters, fans, and rooftops
- Maintain high standards for safety, documentation, and job quality
- Train and mentor technicians; reinforce best practices and efficiency
- Communicate professionally with restaurant managers and facility staff
- Verify before/after photos, job reports, and compliance requirements
- Oversee equipment readiness, chemical usage, and vehicle organization
- Hold the team accountable for punctuality, performance, and results

- Previous hood cleaning experience strongly preferred
