What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at KIRIU USA CORPORATION?
• Read production schedule and inventory reports to determine type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock and order priority.
• Have good working knowledge of part numbers and part usage and understand applications for use.
• Transfer material from stock area to production area and production area to warehouse.
• Unload trucks with incoming empty racks and incoming inventory with proper receiving inspection.
• Load trucks with empty bins.
• Operate stretch wrap equipment as needed.
• Proper operation of equipment to safety and productivity requirements as needed
• Empty machine chips according to ISO140001 environmental standards
• Adhere to all relevant IATF16949 and ISO14001 procedures. Internal process auditing may be required.
• All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:• The minimum education requirement for this position is high school education or GED equivalent.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training or the equivalent of education and experience combined.
• Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Must have problem solving ability as well as the ability to multi-task as employee will be required to prioritize tasks as needed.
• Must have ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral format.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment.
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Maintain a clean & safe environment.
• May be required to use RF scanner gun.
• Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required.
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards.
