At Kirby Risk Electrical Supply, we’re looking for a dedicated Team Lead to join our Distribution Center in Indianapolis. In this key role, you’ll guide warehouse operations, support team members, and ensure our customers continue to receive the reliable service we’re known for.

What You’ll Do As a Warehouse Team Lead
In this role, you’ll be both a leader and a contributor—training, mentoring, and working alongside your team to maintain efficiency, safety, and accuracy across all warehouse functions.
You’ll
- Train, teach, and mentor warehouse associates to build skill and confidence.
- Develop and update processes and procedures to drive consistency and performance.
- Communicate effectively across departments to align goals and ensure smooth operations.
- Lead daily shift meetings, assign tasks, and monitor work throughout the day.
- Foster teamwork, boost morale, and create a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Maintain quality control standards and operational excellence across the shift.
- Support cross-functional initiatives to improve safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of warehouse and/or light manufacturing experience
- 1 year of experience in distribution, wire industry, or Kirby Risk operations preferred
- Demonstrated ability to train, develop, and motivate team members
- Strong commitment to safety and quality control standards
- Proficiency in computer systems (Eclipse, WMS, and Microsoft Office preferred)
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
- Schedule: 2nd Shift – 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm with overtime
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on warehouse tasks as needed
- Active participation in team meetings, process improvements, and shift transitions
