What You’ll Do as a CDL-A Driver
In this role, you’ll be responsible for transporting products between Kirby Risk locations and also delivering to customer locations and sites to support daily operations and ensure timely, accurate inventory movement. This is a key role in keeping our distribution network running smoothly.
You’ll:
- Shuttle product between Kirby Risk branches and facilities according to assigned routes and schedules.
- Operate CDL-A vehicles in a safe, professional, and compliant manner.
- Load, unload, secure, and balance freight to ensure safe transport.
- Verify manifests, order numbers, quantities, and package condition.
- Communicate delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies promptly.
- Support warehouse operations as needed when not actively driving.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic safety checks of assigned vehicle.
- Follow all DOT, safety, and company policies and procedures.
- Represent Kirby Risk professionally at all locations and interactions.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Valid Class A CDL license and clean driving record
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Proven record of safe and reliable driving performance
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to manage time effectively and communicate with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Customer-focused mindset and professional appearance
What to Expect in This Role
- Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM – End of Job
- Home daily
- Overtime pay for hours worked over 40 per week
