- 1–3 years of experience in construction, grading, or surveying
- Ability to read and interpret grading plans, blueprints, and elevations
- Experience using GPS equipment and field software (e.g., Trimble Earthworks or Topcon MAGNET)
- Basic knowledge of surveying concepts (benchmarks, control points, layout)
- Strong math skills for calculating grade, slope, and distance
- Ability to operate GPS rovers, base stations, and data collectors
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically able to walk uneven terrain and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
