Brief Description

Job Title: Pipelayer

Location: Salt Lake City Area (Project Sites Throughout Utah) *Projects are primarily located throughout the Greater Salt Lake City area. Travel between job sites may be required*

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 hourly *Depending on job stability on resume & years of pipelaying experience*

Responsibilities

• Install or repair sanitary or storm-water sewer systems
• Dig trenches and locate pipes for repair/replacement
• Use lasers, grade rods, and other tools to set pipe installation grades
• Ensure safety by following Blue Stake policy and operating equipment properly
• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders

Requirements

• 2 years experience in pipelaying/underground utility construction, or relevant education
• Proficient in the safe operation of hand/power tools and construction equipment
• Ability to read construction plans and follow safety protocols
• Knowledge of traffic rules and safety on highways
• Familiar with safety standards and Underground Facilities Law
