Overview

As a Top Hand, you will play a key role in assisting with construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. This position requires strong hands-on skills, the ability to work well with a team, and a commitment to following all safety and operational procedure

Requirements

• Assist Foreman and Crew Leads with daily project tasks.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment as directed.
• Support the setup, assembly, and breakdown of jobsite materials.
• Perform general labor duties including lifting, carrying, and positioning materials.
• Ensure adherence to all safety standards and company policies.
• Provide guidance and direction to less experienced crew members when needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and challenges.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous construction experience required (civil or heavy equipment preferred).
• Strong understanding of construction practices, tools, and safety standards.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
