Kinkaid Civil Construction (KCC) is a growing, family-run, 100% employee-owned civil construction company. We serve as both General Contractor and Subcontractor, specializing in self-performed work including site utility installation, earthwork, and concrete.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead installation of underground utility projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing budgets, schedules, field execution, and client relationships, with a strong understanding of underground utility practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage civil construction projects from budget through closeout
• Coordinate project schedules, resources, and procurement
• Track project costs, financials, and WIP reporting
• Monitor field progress and ensure quality standards
• Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Lead and support project engineers and staff
• Interface with clients to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction
• Travel as required (expenses covered)

Requirements

• 3 years of underground utility project management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering *preferred*
• Strong proficiency in MS Office; HCSS Heavy Job experience a plus
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
