What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Technician II Imaging Services-Radiology position at KINGS DAUGHTERS MEDICAL CENTER?
Performs routine radiologic procedures, including intraoperative imaging such as C-arm procedures, as well as CT scans and one additional modality (e.g., special procedures or bone density). Assists in the training and evaluation of radiologic technology students.
EDUCATION
Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a radiology department preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required
Current Mississippi Medical Radiation Technologist license required
Current CPR certification required
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to produce diagnostic-quality radiographs
Ability to perform imaging procedures in surgical settings
Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment to obtain optimal imaging results
