Table Games Dealer
Primary Function
To deal and operate all table games in alignment with the mission and core values of Stones South Bay.
Essential Responsibilities
All job duties are to be performed in accordance with Company Policies & Procedures and other legal regulations and requirements. Essential responsibilities include the following and please note that additional duties may be assigned at a future date:
- Maintain consistency by dealing and running the game at hand, in accordance with departmental procedures, including the proper and accurate paying and taking of wagers bet, in order to maximize company revenue.
- Report any cash-in transactions at the table of $500 or more to the Chip Runner or Game Attendant, along with a physical description of the guest if the identity is unknown.
- Report any suspicious activity observed to the Game Attendant.
- Maintain the pace of table games in an efficient and effective manner.
- Provide a high level of game protection, including consistent rule enforcement and game control.
- Enforce "Player Conduct Rules" consistently among all games and players.
- Responsible for the Table Tray Bank assigned to each table dealt. Execute accurate financial transactions while at the gaming table or assisting floor staff in the table games room.
- Accurately collect gaming revenue (“the collection”) from the players in accordance with departmental collection procedures.
- Provide a fun, superior gaming and dining experience by establishing and maintaining a good rapport with guests to promote continued patronage.
- Promote teamwork by working on the table games room floor in other capacities, assisting floor staff as needed when not dealing games.
- Responsible for promoting and keeping up-to-date knowledge of all active promotions, cash games and tournaments in the poker room and the table games room.
- Actively participate in safety training by making it a priority each day, takes a leadership role among peers by reporting unsafe practices or hazardous conditions to the CSM or Security.
- Report to CSM, Security, or Floor of any individuals in the casino who appear to be underage, intoxicated, whose conduct appears to be illegal, or who poses a threat to the Company's operations.

Education and/or Experience: Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills are required. High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required. A minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, but not required.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills. Ability to accurately calculate addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in an efficient manner.
Reasoning Ability: The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Conditions of Employment
This job has conditions of employment essential to the position that include:
- Must be able successfully pass a thorough background check from the City of Chula Vista in order to obtain a Gaming License
- Must be able to renew and maintain an active Gaming License according to the city’s requirements
