Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Program Manager role, based in Columbus, OH. The Program Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of KIA programs and initiatives. Responsibilities include coordinating program schedules, managing budgets, engaging with community stakeholders, supervising staff and volunteers, and ensuring the timely delivery of program objectives. The Program Manager will work closely with the leadership team to align program goals with the organization’s mission to inspire and uplift through the arts.
Qualifications
- Program Management and Coordination: Experience in planning, executing, and evaluating programs, along with skills in budget and timeline management.
- Community Engagement: Proven ability to build partnerships, collaborate with stakeholders, and engage diverse community groups effectively.
- Leadership and Supervision: Strong supervisory skills to manage teams, volunteers, and resources while fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure programs align with organizational goals.
- Effective Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members, stakeholders, and the community.
- Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: Passion for serving and empowering historically marginalized communities.
- Proficiency in technology and project management tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, project management, arts administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in the arts or community organizations is highly desirable.
