King’s Daughters Child Care Center is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to support the Center Director and Executive Director in maintaining efficient center operations, accurate documentation, and compliance with licensing requirements. This role serves as a primary administrative support to staff, families, and visitors while ensuring a welcoming, organized, and professional office environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience in a licensed childcare center or similar setting
- WV Early Care and Education STARS Training Certificate (or equivalent)
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications (CPR/First Aid, Food Handler’s Certification, and others as assigned)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology
What You’ll Do
- Answer telephones and provide information to callers or direct calls appropriately
- Greet and assist all visitors, ensuring visitor log completion
- Maintain contact information databases (Remind system, emergency contacts, staff directories)
- Ensure completion and accuracy of required paperwork (sign-in sheets, monthly attendance, food sheets, WV State reimbursement forms)
- Assist with family enrollment packets and appointment scheduling for prospective families
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic and physical childcare licensing documentation
- File and manage office documentation in a secure and organized manner
- Support the Center Director with daily operational tasks and administrative projects
- Assist the Executive Director with donor correspondence, fundraising support, and Constant Contact database updates
- Maintain confidentiality of all childcare and employee-related information
- Operate office equipment such as copiers, printers, scanners, and phone systems
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
- Learn and implement new office technologies and systems as required
- Perform additional administrative or childcare-related duties as assigned by the Center Director or Executive Director
