Position Overview:
Provide top-notch customer service to all residents, family members, vendors, and employees
Answer telephone, transfer calls, take and deliver accurate messages
Distribute resident and office mail
Fax and photocopy documents as requested
Assist with maintenance of files as needed
Maintain front desk and lobby areas, ensuring they are clean and free from clutter
Key Responsibilities:
Answers telephone and direct the caller to the appropriate individual. Also, provides information such as community address, directions to the community location, community fax numbers, company website, and other related information
Greets and directs visitors to the community
Receives, sorts, and forwards' incoming mail
Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
Resolving customer questions and concerns
Creates and maintains a welcoming, professional atmosphere at all times through polished appearance and appropriate dress, courteous and accurate handling of inquiries, and professional phone etiquette.
Serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, vendors and guests by answering and directing calls, providing accurate information and acknowledging ALL individuals with eye contact and a warm greeting upon entering and exiting the community
May also serve as back up for tour inquiries
This position serves as the Hub for the community
Qualifications:
Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to our senior residents
Appreciate the value of being a dependable & responsible member of greater team
At least 1 year of experience in a customer service setting preferred.
Prior experience working in senior living or other healthcare environment is preferred, but not required
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and the general public
Compassion and desire to work with the elderly
