Required Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Experience: 3 years Ocean Export
Languages: English
Licenses, software, etc: Microsoft Office; GDZ, Oracle and Hazmat Certified preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with DATA ENTRY to all EEI require based Islands assigned.
- Assist with DATA ENTRY to all Bill of Lading require based Islands assigned.
- Assist with DATA ENTRY to all Bill of Lading require pricing based Islands assigned.
- Assist with any cargo releases necessary.
- Request all documents necessary from traffic to complete and submit EEI via ACE according to loading and vessel time frame.
- Review and confirm all necessary information received in order to proceed with the creation of EEI.
- Confirm that all export invoices provided for export are correct and have full destination, value, pieces, shipper and consignee details.
- Scan all invoices and supported documents into GDZ documents.
- Maintain excellent communication with customers when requesting a copy of Commercial invoice for the filling of EEIs and exportation of their goods.
- Maintain knowledge of changing tariffs, rates contracts and promotions.
- Assure that all documents are accurate according to company standards, procedures, and regulations.
- Reporting delays, short shipments and any other discrepancies to management regarding EEIs and Bill of ladings.
- Maintain personal ability in, and appropriate use of all relevant information and communication, technology, and other systems within the import/export function.
- Provide excellent communication with traffic team regarding all data entry issues or delays for the day.
- Knowledge of Hazmat (IMDG/CFR) regulations for transportation of hazardous cargo.
- Create all documentation required for export, such as bills of lading and EEIs.
