Position Overview:
The ACE Auditor/ Bonded Specialist is responsible for coordinating international shipments and ensuring seamless bonded operations. This position audits shipment documentation and adheres to local, country, and international laws and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Review systems events, ACE/AES dashboards, and all other dashboard related to the operation to ensure user perform the duties adequately and in a timely manner to comply with company’s needs and regulatory deadlines.
- Ensures received paperwork is in matching order to assist the receiving end for proper vessel loading.
- Liaises with other departments to maintain effective and relevant export/import activities.
- Ensures timely arrival and export of Customs forms (7512) as per CBP procedure.
- Runs ACE audit reports for QP/WP under our bond numbers & FIRMS codes.
- Maintains constant contact with global partners to maintain timely shipments and accurate information.
- Work with Management on system export functionality review and enhancements.
- Participates and subscribes to any continuing education that is applicable to Bonded & Export Regulations and other government agencies. Such knowledge is shared with staff and Customers when required.
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 5 years of experience in CBP transactions including bond issuance and closure.
- Able to maintain auditing schedule by each market trade lane.
- Able to ensure documentation timelines for all global markets are adhered to.
Work Environment:
This is a position with occasional extended hours depending on shipment schedules and deadlines. The role offers opportunities for growth within international logistics.
