King County Metro's Safety, Security, and Quality Assurance (SSQA) Division is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized individual with sound judgment, a keen eye for accuracy, and strong professional integrity to join our team as an Administrator I. This position will provide complex and critical administrative support for the division and will primarily support the Transit Safety Manager and Transit Security Manager, while working closely with the SSQA Executive Assistant to meet the evolving administrative needs of the division and its employees.
Our ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to managing details, deliverables, and competing deadlines—particularly in support of leadership and their dynamic calendars and agendas. They will also possess exceptional professional writing skills, with the ability to draft, proofread, edit, and summarize information that may be sensitive, technical, or complex in nature. This position will report to the Executive Assistant within the SSQA Division.
This recruitment will be used to fill one (1) Career Service position and is open to all qualified candidates.
In addition, this recruitment’s selection process may be used to generate an eligibility pool for future Career Service positions that may occur in this classification. The eligibility pool will be retained for 12 months from the date of posting and may be used at the discretion of the hiring authority.
