We currently have an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Test Technician with a busy electronics manufacturer in San Bernardino, CA. The Electrical Test Technician will be responsible for the following.Job Summary: Electronics Technician Technical ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair digital and AC electrical systems to component level using schematics and test equipmentOperate a wide range of tools including oscilloscopes, soldering stations, ultrasonic cleaners, and signal generators.Analyze test data and generate performance/failure reports.Maintain detailed records of testing, repairs, and deliveries.Conduct preventive maintenance and support on-site installations and repairs.Work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.Keep the electronics lab organized and professional.Quality ControlPerform electrical QA tests aligned with ISO 9001 standards.Develop and document test procedures independently.Ensure ISO compliance and successful audit outcomes.Maintain proper documentation for all procedures.Material Maintenance Request (MMR)Process repair items promptly to prevent downtime.Maintain spare inventory levels per service requirements.Coordinate repair priorities with materials management.Provide 24/7 emergency support when needed.Production Request Forms (PRF)Fabricate and test electromechanical/electronic assemblies.Deliver products on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.Qualifications5 years of experience in electrical systems and troubleshooting.Strong work ethic and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics.SkillsBuild, troubleshoot, replace and /or replace circuit boardsElectronic Chassis, cables and associated components, and equipmentCapable of applying algebra and statistics to electronics and mechanical systems.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
