Kinetic Personnel Group is recruiting for a Desktop Support Specialist for our Bank client. This position will provide day‑to‑day technical assistance for our employees and help keep our systems secure, stable, and running smoothly. This role supports our networks, software, and computer systems, assists with routine administrative tasks, and contributes to special IT projects.
This position will start out as a 3-month temporary position which may be extended or converted to a permanent position for a right candidate.
What You’ll Do
- Provide technical support for users across company systems, software, and networks
- Troubleshoot issues, guide users through solutions, and document cases in the IT ticketing system
- Manage user accounts and system changes, ensuring proper approvals
- Assist with hardware/software updates, patches, and general system maintenance
- Support incident response efforts during system emergencies or security events
- Work with vendors on equipment, software, and service needs
- Participate in department projects as assigned
- Prepare routine reports and maintain accurate system documentation
- Follow company policies, uphold security standards, and promote a respectful workplace
What You Bring
- Basic experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and system administration
- Familiarity with networks, hardware/software support, and communication systems
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
