We currently have an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Test Technician with a busy electronics manufacturer in San Bernardino, CA. The Electrical Test Technician will be responsible for the following.
Job Summary: Electronics Technician Technical Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair digital and AC electrical systems to component level using schematics and test equipment
- Operate a wide range of tools including oscilloscopes, soldering stations, ultrasonic cleaners, and signal generators.
- Analyze test data and generate performance/failure reports.
- Maintain detailed records of testing, repairs, and deliveries.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and support on-site installations and repairs.
- Work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Keep the electronics lab organized and professional.
Quality Control
- Perform electrical QA tests aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
- Develop and document test procedures independently.
- Ensure ISO compliance and successful audit outcomes.
- Maintain proper documentation for all procedures.
Material Maintenance Request (MMR)
- Process repair items promptly to prevent downtime.
- Maintain spare inventory levels per service requirements.
- Coordinate repair priorities with materials management.
- Provide 24/7 emergency support when needed.
Production Request Forms (PRF)
- Fabricate and test electromechanical/electronic assemblies.
- Deliver products on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in electrical systems and troubleshooting.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics.
Skills
- Build troubleshoot, replace and /or replace circuit boards
- Electronic Chassis, cables and associated components, and equipment
- Capable of applying algebra and statistics to electronics and mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
