Job Summary: The Kimray Internship Program offers students hands-on experience in a professional manufacturing environment. Essential Job Functions:
In addition to a summer project, there will be opportunities to do some of the following, based on project assignment:
- Assist with inspection and testing of components, assemblies, and finished products.
- Support root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Help maintain and update quality documentation, control plans, and inspection records.
- Participate in audits and process capability studies.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with measurement tools, quality systems, or data analysis methods preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to learning and maintaining Kimray’s high standards of quality and service.
- Must pass background check and drug screen
