Footwear Production Sample Assistant

Fast-paced import/wholesale Fashion Footwear company seeking the right individual interested in Fashion, likes challenge, and detail-oriented. Training is provided

The Production Sample Assistant plays a key role in managing product samples and supporting the production and sales teams. This position is responsible for receiving, categorizing, and maintaining samples, fulfilling team requests, and ensuring the showroom is organized, updated, and presentation-ready at all times.

Salary: Starting from $20 (Negotiable per experience)

In Office Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Experience (Preferred):
• 1–2 years of fashion related industry.
• Managing and Organizing samples.
• Skills & Attributes:
• Strong attention to detail with proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, and work independently while following directions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional demeanor.
• Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to lift and move boxes of footwear samples as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and track the full sample ordering process.
• Maintain daily logs of sample status, allocations, inflow, and outflow.
• Receive, unpack, and organize incoming samples promptly.
• Prepare and lay out new development samples based on management direction.
• Organize and maintain the showroom, ensuring only current and correct samples are displayed.
• Distribute samples to appropriate locations (showroom, storage, or team members).
• Remove discontinued or dropped styles from displays as needed.
• Organize and maintain sample storage areas, boxes, and cartons.
• Prepare, pack, and coordinate sample shipments for domestic and international trade shows, conferences, and photo shoots.
• If applicable, assist with shoe fittings and model product for photo shoots (Women’s shoe size 6).
• Fulfill sample requests from sales reps and internal teams, ensuring timely shipping and communication with managers regarding eligibility.
• Collaborate with the Product team to maintain accurate sample lists aligned with orders.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assist the Production team with data entry and other administrative tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
