FIGS is looking for a Production Sample Assistant to join our Planning & Production team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively across multiple platforms (email, Slack, Google Workspace). This role requires someone who can work independently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate cross‑functionally. The role reports directly to the Sr. Director of Supply & Materials Planning.

What you’ll do:
- Proactively work with Marketing on photoshoot needs for upcoming quarterly launches and subsequent shoot dates.
- Identify and note all styles requiring Photoshoot samples in Buyplans
- Work with Production and Planning teams to ensure photoshoot purchase orders are sent to suppliers.
- Log Pos, communicate with suppliers, and track photoshoot samples from production to pass off.
- Log photoshoot samples in the sample tracker with flawless accuracy.
- Manage Photoshoot POs to keep them up to date with costing, quantity, style, or color code changes from Merchandising and Production.
- Identify, request and submit any necessary changes to Photo POs.
- Communicate with vendors on upcoming shipments, dates and tracking information to ensure the requested goods arrive in a timely manner to support marketing needs.
- Keep Marketing and Merchandise samples organized before sample reviews and handoffs.
- Review photoshoot samples with Design to ensure accuracy to the bulk production bill of materials and construction on a weekly basis.
- Schedule weekly sample hand-offs with Marketing and keep a record of samples received and passed.
- Attend and contribute when appropriate in all cross-functional meetings.
- Support the global sourcing and production team as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 1–3 years of experience working with supplier partners or within sourcing, planning, or production teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Ability to analyze data and work with reports from various systems.
- Understanding of basic production calendars and supplier communication.
- Sound judgment and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience in apparel production, sourcing, logistics, or inventory management.
- Knowledge of integrated software systems (e.g., PLM, ERP).
- Experience managing sample workflows or working closely with Design, Merchandising, and Marketing teams.
- Proven success coordinating cross-functional projects with tight deadlines.
- A strong sense of ownership and ability to independently manage complex workflows.

Pay Range
- At FIGS, your hourly rate is one part of your total compensation package. This role's hourly rate is between $28 and $32. Actual rate is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
