3-6 Month Project$30-$45 DOEShift ScheduleFirst shift: 5am - 2:30pmSecond shift: 2pm -10:30pmResponsibilitiesCreate and follow procedures to setup and operate the orbital welding systemWork from blueprints and approved drawingsWork alongside engineering to provide insight to process improvementsCut and prepare tubing and fittings used in the welding operationPerform setup and maintenance of the welding systemAssist in training other teammates in orbital tube weldingWork with final integration teams to weld on vehicle assemblyAssemble and calibrate liquid controllers and systems as requiredInspect all completed assemblies using borescope and other inspection toolsMaintain an adequate supply of spare parts for the welding systemMaintain a clean work area, practicing “clean as you go” and general housekeeping standardsAssist in facility needs Minimum Qualifications1 year of welding, machining or manufacturing experience OR certificate from an accredited trade skills program in A&P, manufacturing, welding, and/or electronics Preferred Skills & ExperienceCertification from a formal orbital weld training program3 years of orbital welding experienceClean room experienceAirframe and powerplant (A&P) licenseTIG welding and clean room experienceExperience working in an aerospace manufacturing environmentStrong forklift experience Additional Requirements Able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassistedAble to stand for extended periods – 8 hours minAble to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spacesAble to work in small teams to ensure production needs are consistently meThis role is subject to ITAR requirements.Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee, or otherwise eligible for required authorizations under U.S. export regulations.PandoLogic.
