We are seeking an Aerospace Orbital Tube welder to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new Tube Duct and Sheet Metal.Responsibilities:Create and follow procedures to setup and operate the orbital welding systemWork from blueprints and approved drawingsWork alongside engineering to provide insight to process improvementsCut and prepare tubing and fittings used in the welding operationPerform setup and maintenance of the welding systemAssist in training other teammates in orbital tube weldingInspect all completed assemblies using borescope and other inspection toolsMaintain an adequate supply of spare parts for the welding systemMaintain a clean work area, practicing "clean as you go" and general housekeeping standardsAssist in facility needsWelding of Tube Duct products and other sheet metalInstall and weld various componentsWeld process as per AWS D17.1Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and toleranceQualifications1 year of welding, machining or manufacturing experience OR certificate from an accredited trade skills program in A&P, manufacturing, welding, and/or electronicsPrevious experience in Aerospace TIG weldingProficiency with welding tools and proceduresFamiliarity with engineering blueprintsAbility to handle physical workloadAble to Certify to AWS D17.1Experience with Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Titanium and Inconel Competitive Pay Dependant Upon ExperienceCompany DescriptionAerospace Manufacturing Company that builds Tube and Duct Assemblies for Airplanes, Missiles and Satellites
