Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional service across residential, commercial, and industrial properties. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. Your expertise will help create comfortable, safe environments for our clients while supporting property maintenance operations. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as condensate drainage and refrigerant piping.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair electrical components and mechanical parts.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs for compliance and quality assurance.
- Operate a vehicle safely when transporting equipment or parts to job sites.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure HVAC systems meet safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to crawl under house and in attics
- Must be able to climb ladders
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance
- Knowledge of plumbing related to HVAC systems such as condensate drainage and refrigerant piping and Ducting
- Familiarity with field service procedures for appliance repair and property maintenance tasks.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Construction experience is a plus for understanding building integration of HVAC systems.
- Previous service technician experience in HVAC/R or related fields preferred.
- EPA Certification preferred
