Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Santa Clara, CA. As a Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician, be responsible for servicing both new and existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including inspecting equipment, diagnosing issues, and performing necessary repairs or replacements. Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and longevity, while responding promptly to emergency maintenance requests as needed. Maintain strict adherence to all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in HVAC or a related field
- Familiarity in HVAC wiring diagrams
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Must have basic hand and power tools
- Ability to meet short deadlines and work variable hours as project requires
- Ability to follow OSHA requirements and safety precautions
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Able to lift up to 75lbs
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Capable of lifting equipment over your head, working overhead for extended periods of time, and climbing ladders
