Primary Purpose:
Assist district librarian in the administration of the campus library. Perform routine clerical duties under minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification
High School Diploma / GED required
Valid Texas educational aide certificate*
- District will assist in obtaining
Special Knowledge/Skills
Proficient in keyboarding and file maintenance
Ability to shelve books following district cataloging system
Ability to use library and media center resources
Ability to instruct and manage student behavior
Effective, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience
One year experience working with children preferred
One year library or clerical experience
