OVERVIEW:
KIKO MILANO is looking for a Construction & Facilities Director to lead all aspects of store construction, remodels, and facility management across North America. This senior role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring every store reflects our premium brand standards while delivering projects on time, on budget, and with excellence.
STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT & BRAND ALIGNMENT
- Provide executive leadership for capital expenditure planning, construction, and facilities operations.
- Ensure compliance with governance, policies, and financial controls across all projects.
- Develop long-term strategies for store growth, remodels, and lifecycle maintenance.
- Oversee bidding, contracts, and legal/financial controls for construction and facilities projects.
- Drive efficiency, cost management, and budget accountability across all initiatives.
OPERATIONAL & PROJECT EXECUTION
- Lead end-to-end delivery of new stores, remodels, and special projects while upholding KIKO MILANO’s premium brand standards.
- Establish and enforce project management processes including timelines, milestones, and documentation.
- Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and provide executive reporting with actionable recommendations.
- Conduct site inspections, manage contractors, and ensure facilities meet brand and operational standards.
TEAM LEADERSHIP & PARTNERSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, facilities managers, and contractors.
- Collaborate with Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Real Estate to align priorities and resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct post-opening audits to identify opportunities for improvement and operational efficiency.
FACILITIES MANAGEMENT & COMPLIANCE
- Oversee ongoing store maintenance, facility operations, and capital improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, ADA regulations, safety standards, and KIKO MILANO policies.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs and sustainability initiatives.
- Manage vendor contracts to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s in construction management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field; master’s or advanced certification preferred.
- 7–10 years’ experience in retail construction, facilities management, or large-scale project management, ideally in luxury retail or beauty.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure management.
- Proficiency in project management tools, AutoCAD, and facilities management software.
- Knowledge of ADA, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strategic, solutions-oriented mindset with ability to influence executive decision-making.
- Willingness and ability to travel across North America to support project oversight and site inspections.

COMPENSATION TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000-$160,000. This range does not include additional compensation or benefits such as commission, overtime, discretionary bonuses, health insurance, retirement programs, or paid time off. Full compensation details will be shared during the interview process and/or with an official offer.
