Role Description
The Technical Documentation Specialist will report to the head of New Product Development and will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining high-quality technical documents, including user manuals, installation guides, labels, and training materials across the brands. Daily tasks will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding technical specifications, gathering relevant information, and ensuring documentation meets quality and industry standards. This role will work closely with manufacturing and mechanical engineers in capturing process steps and technical details. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bentonville, AR.
The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable learning hands-on technical content from our engineers and technicians, translating it into clear, professional documentation, and building the systems, workflows, and automations that keep that documentation current across all three product lines.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Technical Documentation and Documentation creation
- Proven proficiency in Technical Writing with a focus on clarity and accuracy. ANSI and ISO experience a plus.
- Excellent Communication skills for collaboration and conveying complex information
- Experience in developing user manuals and instructional materials.
- Familiarity with tools and software for documentation preparation. Solidworks Composer experience is a plus.
- Ability to assemble or disassemble products and capture the process to do so.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
- Experience with technology or manufacturing industries is an asset
