Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to infants, ensuring their physical needs are met through feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and early cognitive development.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Observe and document each infant’s developmental milestones to inform individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences.
- Support positive behavior management strategies to encourage social skills and emotional regulation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in caregiving practices and classroom routines.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants in a daycare or childcare setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills coupled with compassionate caregiving abilities.
- Familiarity with early childhood education practices, including behavior management techniques.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
