Duties

• Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Plan and execute developmentally appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and emotional security
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences
• Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies
• Support infants with feeding, diapering, sleep routines, and comfort needs in accordance with individual care plans
• Collaborate with team members to implement classroom management strategies that foster positive behavior and social skills

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with infants or in a childcare setting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of child development principles specific to early childhood and infant care
• Certification in first aid and CPR (pediatric first aid certification is a plus)
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention
• Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively
• Ability to manage classroom routines with patience, compassion, and professionalism
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is advantageous
• Demonstrated understanding of early childhood education practices, including behavior management and developmental milestones
