Essential Duties
- Provides leadership, management, and accountability (LMA) to the entire Human Resources team, including generalists, recruiting staff, interns, and others.
- Understand and execute Kidwell’s company vision, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, and employee retention.
- Evaluate and structure the HR team to meet the current demands of employee growth while utilizing the talents of HR team members in the most beneficial manner possible.
- Collaborate with departmental hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required to fill current and future openings and promote ongoing development of staff.
- Facilitates leadership and development programs/initiatives that provide growth opportunities for employees, and responsible for the coordination of employee performance management
- Oversee employee disciplinary process, including verbal and written warnings, and terminations. May be required to administer and execute tasks in delicate circumstances, such as investigating occurrences of impropriety.
- Experience with management of Worker’s Compensation cases, and work with Kidwell Safety Director to coordinate periodic trainings and safety meetings.
- Compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and changes in employment law.
- Assists with the coordination of Employee Engagement Initiatives.
- A bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Admin., or related field is preferred.
- Four to seven years of experience in Human Resource operations, recruiting, talent management, or a combination thereof.
- Possesses working knowledge and experience in using recruiting and HRIS softwares.
- Strong competency in verbal communication, written communication, building interpersonal relationships, and analytical skills.
- SHRM CP or PHR certifications preferred but not required.
