Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable person to join our vibrant childcare team! In this role, you will serve as a versatile team member, stepping into various classroom environments and supporting our dedicated educators to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing space for children. .
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising children in various classroom settings, including school age, preschool, toddler care, and infant care.
- Support teachers with classroom management, activity setup, and clean-up to foster a stimulating learning environment.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote development in areas such as social skills, motor skills, and early literacy.
- Follow all safety protocols, including first aid procedures and behavior management strategies, to ensure a secure environment.
- Adapt quickly to different classroom needs, providing consistent care whether covering breaks or filling in for staff absences.
- Communicate effectively with team members and parents to share updates on children’s progress and well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms and play areas in compliance with health standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children is preferred,
- Training in first aid and CPR is preferred, or we will train you.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and support multiple classrooms as needed.
- Reliable attendance.
