Duties
- With the help of the lead teacher implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional development
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management
- Deliver comprehensive child development instruction tailored to infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school age children
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster collaborative relationships
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and uphold child welfare policies at all times
- Manage classroom activities efficiently using effective classroom management strategies to support optimal learning experiences
Experience
- MUST have College Credits (does not necessarily have to be in the education field)
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques
- Classroom experience involving classroom management
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with students who have diverse learning needs is a plus
- Valid certifications in first aid and CPR are required to ensure safety in emergency situations
- Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration are essential
